Hi all!

I’ve entered a contest that (if I win) will allow me to travel the world on my dream photography assignment. My dream assignment is called “Children for Peace”. I want to capture the universal optimism of children around the world as they spread a message of peace, love, and hope for the future.

My dream is travel to as many countries around the world as I can capturing images of children. In all of the photos, the child(ren) being photographed would be wearing the same shirt – a shirt bearing a message of “peace”, “hope”, “love”, or something similar. The pictures would be both candid and posed, in natural settings as well as in front of recognizable landmarks to help establish a feeling of global familiarity. I would hope that these images would help inspire others to foster a feeling of the universal nature of mankind and the unbridled optimism and hope that children embody.

Lisa & Andy were looking to have some “rustic, outdoorsy family portraits” taken for their Christmas cards this year. They were such troopers! The weather may look nice in the photos, but it was only 28 degrees out!
